Wheel Throwing -Level 2
1 on 1 private throwing lessons with a master pottery artist
Service Description
Easel & Wheel Art Space has a charming throwing area with three wheels, not packed-in rows. Surrounded by windows and light, we have the tools and master pottery skills to make your early throwing experiences special and catered more to you individually. We offer these semi-private wheel classes for a quality beginner's experience that should propel your throwing practice even more! In this next level, you should already be able to wedge and center up to at least 3 lbs of clay. We will explore lids, trimming and expansion of the skills already gained in the Beginner class. This is a 4-week course. You can keep three of the pieces you throw and decorate them in a number of ways; we can show you some options. The piece will be glazed with a clear glaze by our team - should you want to choose a colored glaze, this is available by purchasing our glaze class separately. See availability and details in our offerings. Work is available for pick-up after adequate drying and firing time. Attendees will be notified when the pieces are ready.
